Bipolar Tracker — SMS wellness alerts

Public disclosure for A2P 10DLC carrier review · Brand: Bipolar Tracker (Health Tracking Journal) · App: https://bipolar-tracker.com/ · Last updated: May 2026

Program description

Bipolar Tracker sends transactional, non-marketing SMS alerts when the account holder manually records a high-priority wellness state in their private journal (for example by tapping “I am Manic” on the T2 safety banner or saving an entry at the highest concern level). Messages are wellness check-ins only — not ads, promotions, or recurring marketing blasts.

Who receives messages

How users opt in (call to action)

Opt-in is express and documented before any SMS is sent. There is no public phone signup form; this is a private journal with a small, known user group.

Account holder — consent language

“By providing my mobile number to the Bipolar Tracker administrator and using the in-app I am Manic escalation control, I agree to receive transactional wellness alert SMS from Bipolar Tracker. Message frequency varies (typically zero to a few per month, only when I trigger an alert). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

Support contact — consent language

“I agree to receive transactional SMS from Bipolar Tracker when [account holder name] triggers a high-priority wellness alert in their journal, so I can check in with them. Message frequency varies (typically zero to a few per month). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

Opt-in steps

  1. Create an account at https://bipolar-tracker.com/ (email sign-up).
  2. Account holder: Provide their mobile number to the app administrator and confirm the consent language above (written message or in-app enrollment).
  3. Support contact: Separately confirms the consent language above to the account holder before their number is enrolled in the alert program.
  4. When a high-priority alert is triggered in the app, transactional SMS may be sent to enrolled numbers. No message is sent until enrollment and an in-app trigger both occur.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. Users may decline SMS and still use the journal.

Sample messages

Message frequency

Messages are sent only when a high-priority alert is triggered manually in the app — not on a schedule and not for marketing. Typical frequency is low (zero to a few per month).

Opt out and help

Reply STOP to any message from our Twilio number to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help. After STOP, no further texts are sent unless the user opts in again. Msg & data rates may apply.

Privacy

Mobile numbers are used only for this transactional alert program. We do not sell or share phone numbers with third parties for marketing. Messages are delivered via Twilio. See our Privacy Policy.
